I was watching This is Us. Randall was freaking out about his first child soon to be born. A guy in the home improvement store tells him something like, “don’t worry about what you need to know; they teach you who you are.”
A blog is like a child. It teaches you, and directs you where to go. I never set out to make biscuits, but now I have over thirty five of them all here just for you! Most start with a basic recipe, which I have perfected and have gotten rave reviews from readers all around the world.
There is a basic recipe for most of the Southern biscuit recipes and a video to ensure your success.
I covered all the bases for Southern Biscuit Recipes with a flakey biscuit, a fluffy biscuit (most popular) a gluten free biscuit, and a grain free biscuit. Since I posted the first successful biscuit, all things biscuits take off really well here.
Here are the three basic southern biscuit recipes that you should consider.

Made with White Lily’s Soft Wheat Flour or all-purpose flour, butter and buttermilk, these biscuits are the classic and if you follow the 17 biscuit tips at this recipe, you will succeed. (The proof is in the comments at the post).
The Gluten Free Biscuit with Video (amazing positive feedback). Made with Bob’s Red Mill One to One Flour, and a secret ingredient, this gluten free biscuit is hard to beat.
