Raspberry Purée is a must have recipe for many wonderful desserts. My version is sugar free, and you can replace with sugar if you desire.

My favorite ways to use raspberry purée is on my keto white chocolate raspberry purée and on my keto cheesecake.
Lately I’ve been making this mini cheesecake over and over with raspberry purée, because it’s so good.
While the answer to how to make raspberry purée is a simple one, it took me trying three ways to find the one way that works the best.
Best Method for Sugar Free Raspberry Purée
After trying three methods, I landed on this one. At first I tried to cook the frozen raspberries and then take through a sieve. The problem with that is cooking reduces the liquid and makes removing the seeds in the sieve harder.
I then reversed this method and it worked.
I ended up defrosting a bag of frozen berries, blending with a half cup of water in a super blender.
I used my Vitamix, the best purchase I ever made for my kitchen. Then I took it through a sieve to remove the seeds, prior to heating. It’s still takes a little work to do that, but it’s worth it.
After that, I add about 1/4 cup Swerve and take it to a boil, then a simmer about ten minutes with a splash of lemon juice until the raspberry mixture is reduced to a beautiful purée. Keep in mind that it will thicken further in the refrigerator and last about a week. You can also freeze and the purée will be good about 3 months.
Sugar Free Raspberry is Amazing on Keto Cheesecake
We have discovered this is amazing on cheesecake! In the past week, I’ve made six small cheesecakes and hands down, everyone loved the ones with the raspberry puree! Just trust me on this and make my easiest ever cheesecake. No water bath and no guessing. These mini pans are the way to go! Or you can bake in small little jars and add the raspberry puree in the jar. I’m telling you, your party guests will go wild for these.
Not only is this purée great for the raspberry cake, it can be used for this keto lemon budino, these keto financiers or this keto chocolate cake. It is especially good on cheesecake!

Sugar Free Raspberry Puree (Keto Friendly)
- 1 bag Frozen Raspberries 10 ounce bag
- 1/4 cup Swerve granulated sweetener
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Defrost the raspberries.
- Blend in Vitamix or blender with water.
- Take through sieve to hold back seeds.
- Add lemon juice and heat on low for about ten minutes. Allow to cool.
- Refrigerate in a jar or container with lid. Purée will thicken.
