  • 12 Eggs
  • 1 large pot
  • cold water
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon salt


  • Place eggs in pot. Add enough cold water to cover eggs plus two inches.
  • Add vinegar.
  • Bring to boil. Boil one minute.
  • Turn off heat. Cover for 12 minutes.
  • Rinse in cold water. Eggs should be easy to peel.

    Turned out wonderful, thank you, now it’s time to mix, but I usually stick with mustard and miracle whip and dig thru the frige for a little twist and I like spicy food, will also mince a sweet onion to ad to the yoke mix. Didin’t take but a few minutes to peel 18 eggs and that is what I enjoy, thanks again, I have a lot of homemade other recipes if interested and my boneless, skinless chicken breasts melt in your mouth, I’m talking twice as tender as say a boneless, skinless chicken thigh.       1. Help! My yolks were runny! I didn’t cook long enough? Can I make this night before or just boil eggs and then mix the next day? Love all your recipes!!!

        1. I don’t know how your eggs were runny. Once the water is rapidly boiling, cover turn off heat and wait 12 minutes. They will not be runny with these directions, as I made this all the time.
