As soon as Fall hits, I start craving apple pie, apple muffins and apple cake. This easy to make keto friendly low-carb apple crumb cake checks all the boxes for my craving.

This low carb apple crumb cake is keto friendly, grain free, gluten free and absolutely delicious. In fact, it’s so good, it was served at my husband’s men’s group and as they finished it, one of the guys wanted the recipe.

Buttery apples are baked inside the cake and blanketed with a cinnamon crunchy topping. This is a low carb breakfast or dessert treat.

Sweetener (Golden)

There is an extra special flavor using a golden monk fruit/erythritol blend that is similar to a light brown sugar. Don’t worry if you are using a different sweetener; it will still be good.

  1. This looks good. Sweetener is not listed in ingredients for apple mixture. Just add until sweet? Any estimate how big your apples are? I’m surprised these can fit into keto with the apples, but I guess just 1/6 of an apple per muffin. Thanks

    1. Because I used apples, I refer to this as low-carb, but you can also pull back on the apple. I used medium sized apples. I did add the sweetener back in. That was an oversight. Thanks for letting me know.
