BAKING CONVERSION CHARTS

You will need a digital scale. I’ve had mine for years and use it almost every day. You will get a better result when baking. Why? Because we all tend to pack down the flour when we scoop, which will cause baked goods to be dry.

I also use the scale like this. If I need to weigh multiple dry ingredients, I will simply set the scale back to zero.

I also weigh peanut butter because it’s so much easier than trying to put it in a measuring cup.

When I make tortillas, I first weigh my tortilla dough, then divide that number by 8, and weigh each individually to ensure my tortillas are all the same size.

When making cakes, I set the baking pan to zero and make sure each cake pan weighs the same to ensure two exact layers.

Happy cooking, baking, and good food making.
