Roast Carnival Squash
Beautiful Carnival Squash, cut roasted with skin and several variations.

Variation 1
- 1 Carnival Squash
- 2 tablespoons Melted Butter
- 1/4 teaspoon Maple Syrup or extract
- Salt
- Pepper
Variation 2
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese
- 2 tablespoons Melted Butter
- Salt
- Pepper
Cut on the natural lines of the squash and cut into thinner pieces as needs.
Remove all seeds.
Brush with either melted butter or olive oil. if using variation 1 add the maple syrup to the butter and brush. If using variation 2, brush with either butter or olive oil. Add the Parmesan during last five minutes of roasting. Season both with salt and pepper.
Roast on baking sheet for about 20 minutes at 400 degrees F. Turn over at then minutes. You may need a few more minutes. Should be fork tender.
