Marisa, we all love TJ,It’s about 30 minutes from me and ALDI’s is about 8 minutes, so now I frequent it for those things that I absolutely love and know I’m saving a lot of money on.

Lorraine, that’s so interesting. I know some people are confused by “what is ALDI’s.” I lived so close to it for years and never went, which is a shame.

I skip most of the processed foods and head for the dairy aisle, the cheeses, baking supplies, and frozen fish/shrimp/chicken. I have found most of the bakery goods to be tasteless and dry. Most of their chips I pass over, as well as the cereals, except for oatmeal. I am generally impressed by the fresh fruit and produce which tend to be lower priced and very fresh. I have mixed feelings about the fresh meat which sometimes has an odd texture. Overall, the prices are well worth the trip. Do I love everything? No, but I don’t eat everything from my local grocer either.
