Grilled PIzza with Pears, Fig Jam, Melted Cheddar
A simple pizza on the grill with gourmet ingredients
Servings: 4
- 1 pizza dough
- 2 tablespoons fig jam
- 1 pear sliced very thinly
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh mozzrella
- dash lavender salt
- fresh thyme
- black pepper
Preheat oven to 450 Degrees, hotter if your oven does that, I used my grill and was able to get it to 600 degrees. The hotter the better.
Roll pizza dough out thinly
Combine fig jam with just enough olive oil to make a spreading consistency.
Top with pears, cheese, lavender salt.
Bake or grill 6 to 10 minutes depending on your oven or grill.
Top with black pepper and fresh thyme. Serve Immediately.
