Blueberry Banana Smoothie Bowl

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • banana divided
  • 1/2 orange without peel or pith
  • 1 cup vanilla or plain yogurt for yogurt option or
  • 1 cup vanilla protein shake
  • walnuts


  • Mix frozen berries, banana, orange in blender. You may need to add some liquid from protein drink or yogurt to get it going.
  • Once the fruit is smooth enough, gently add in yogurt or protein drink. You want the smoothie to be thick enough to eat with a spoon.
  • Pour in bowl.
  • Garnish with fruit and nuts


Greek yogurt works best because it's so thick, but I use regular yogurt. I'm just careful when I blend.
I use Premier pre-made vanilla protein drinks when I'm going in that direction.
