That is a wonderful story!! How I miss my mamma and papà — I started the blog after mamma passed away. I really did it because I don’t want to forget my family and all they sacrificed for me. I have a hard time sharing because I’ll start crying. We were Italians in the middle of the US where there were no Italians. Sometimes it felt it was the same as the little island we left. Anyway, great recipe and great story. Give your mamma a big Italian hug from me.
