Brussels Sprouts Bacon Recipe with Figs

A medley of bacon, figs and brussels sprouts for the sweet and salty perfect combination.

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • 1 pound brussels sprouts
  • 6 strips bacon, sliced
  • 1 pint fresh figs
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • salt, pepper to taste
  1. Trim brussels sprouts and cut in half or quarters if very large.
  2. Slice bacon crosswise to ½ inch pieces.
  3. Slice figs in half.
  4. Toss brussels sprouts in olive oil. They should just glisten as bacon will yield fat.
  5. Arrange bacon, figs, and brussels in baking sheet, not crowding brussels sprouts.
  6. Roast for twenty minutes, turning at ten minutes.
