I love the way you crowned the cake with cupcakes! What a fun, whimsical touch. I love homemade strawberry cake–such a world of difference from boxed mixes. I like to add freeze dried strawberries to mine to add an extra punch of strawberry flavor.

First of all I am so very sorry about your husband. Thank God it wasn’t worse, as you said. Secondly, I don’t know how you’re getting done what you’re getting done. Makes me feel guilty whining about lack of time :-(. Thirdly — I have a periscope account so now I’ll include you. I’m looking forward to seeing what you’re doing. I kinda nosy that way. Last but not least your cake looks and sounds delicious. I am pinning!! Take care and have un buon fine settimana!
