Oh and I've even used it as a breakfast by adding cranberries or blueberries and almonds or pecans with a little brown sugar. I haven't convinced the kids to eat it as breakfast... Someday.

Yum!! I've never soaked mine before, shall give it a try. We add things like sautéed spinach, kale and Swiss chard. I've tossed in chick peas, sundried tomatoes and grilled chicken. I usually just try to make it colorful so that the kids will find it exciting, eat it and enjoy it. I treat my quinoa most times just as I would barley or couscous and just make it up as I go. Smiles!
